"It is inevitable that there will be deaths. We have so many systems that are interconnected," Bore said.
The company reported to X that "the impacted traffic is being rerouted to alternate systems with the objective of mitigating the impact" and "the level of service availability has improved."

During the global outage, United, American, Delta, and Allegiant were forced to ground their airplanes in the United States.
During an early Friday United flight delay, passengers slept on a jetway floor at the Los Angeles International Airport with the help of backpacks and luggage.
U.S. Airlines said it was resuming some flights, however, it expects disruptions to persist into Friday.
"To make changing travel plans easier for customers, we've waived the United.com or United app fee," United explained.
After issuing a ground stop on departing flights, American says it has been able to resume operations safely.
